Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and excel in a fast-paced environment where technology, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. They focus on building strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills in preparation for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Develop proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class customer experience, helping customers continue their shopping journey, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions beyond basic devices and plans.
  2. Digital Tools Usage: Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain plans, complete training, and stay informed about wireless innovations.
  3. Relationship Building and Teamwork: Collaborate with other T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail (Required)
  • Passion for customer advocacy and a fun, engaging personality (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in sales environments (Required)
  • Ability to work collaboratively, learn, and resolve customer issues (Required)
  • Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (Required)

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly base pay is $17.50, with incentives during training and upon promotion, leading to an annual target of $18,000 plus incentives. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for annual stock grants.
