Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They connect deeply with customers, building and deepening relationships unmatched across the wireless industry. They work to develop expertise in uncovering customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, where new associates work with their team and proactively build skills in preparation for advancement to Mobile Expert. New associates are required to successfully complete training.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling:
    • Provide a world-class customer experience and build loyalty by helping customers continue their shopping journey online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Explore customer needs and demonstrate the latest technology through hands-on demonstrations.
    • Sell personalized solutions beyond basic device and service plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approach customer interactions with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools:
    • Show coverage maps and explain network benefits.
    • Educate customers on plans and services that support their lifestyle.
    • Complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources.
    • Continuously learn about wireless innovations during shifts.
  3. Build relationships and partner across channels:
    • Own the customer experience and resolve issues collaboratively.
    • Identify and pass small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer advocate who enjoys connecting and having fun! (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales environments. (Required)
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and share ideas. (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals. (Required)

  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
