Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations and customer needs are constantly evolving. They build meaningful connections with customers, deepening relationships and uncovering needs to educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills in preparation for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class customer experience, helping customers continue their shopping journey online, via Customer Care, or in-store; exploring customer needs; demonstrating technology; and offering personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices. Approach interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tool Utilization: Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage and plans, complete training on in-store experience, and stay informed about innovations in wireless technology.
  3. Relationship Building: Partner with T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate (Required)
  • Competitive drive with success in fast-paced sales environments (Required)
  • Willingness to collaborate and learn (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
Additional Information

Travel: No
DOT Regulated: No
Hourly Pay: Starting at $17.50/hour plus $5.00 training pay. After training, eligible for incentive pay up to $18,000/year. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives. Employees also qualify for stock grants.
