Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving. They focus on building connections with customers, uncovering their needs, and educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to build skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class experience, and building loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers with their shopping journey, online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating technology products.
    • Selling personalized solutions including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools & Training: Use digital tools effectively to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services; complete training on systems, processes, and product knowledge; and continuously learn about innovations.
  3. Team Collaboration: Partner with other T-Mobile employees to own the customer experience, resolve issues, and support team initiatives, fostering an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)

  • Competitive drive and ability to succeed in sales (Required)

Hourly Pay: Starting at $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay; after training, eligible for incentive target of $18,000/year, with guaranteed minimum of $20/hour including incentives. All employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
