Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, connecting with customers to understand their needs and recommend device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class customer experience, helping customers continue their shopping journey, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions including accessories and IoT devices.
  2. Digital Tools Usage: Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain plans, and complete training on store experience and systems. Continuously learn about wireless innovations.
  3. Relationship Building: Collaborate with other T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun while connecting (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in sales environments (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Information

Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive training and may earn incentives. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, eligible for an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees earn at least $20/hour including incentives and are eligible for stock grants.
