Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience. They focus on building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and educating them about device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to build skills in preparation for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and fostering loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers in continuing their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating the latest technology.
    • Offering personalized solutions beyond devices and plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching customer interactions with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools effectively during interactions and onboarding to demonstrate:
    • Coverage quality in the customer's area.
    • The benefits of T-Mobile plans and services.
    • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, systems, and resources.
    • Continuously learn about innovations in wireless technology.
  3. Build relationships and partner with T-Mobile employees across channels to:
    • Own the customer experience and resolve issues.
    • Identify and pass small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
  4. Education: High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  5. Work Experience: At least 6 months in customer service and/or sales, retail preferred (Required)
  6. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Passionate about customer service, competitive, team-oriented, adaptable, and goal-driven.
  7. Licenses and Certifications: Must be at least 18, legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Hourly Pay: $20.00 + $5.00 training pay during onboarding. Post-training, eligible for incentives and stock grants.
