Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They build significant connections with our customers, deepening relationships through education, demonstrations, and personalized solutions. This role is a learning position, where new associates develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:
    1. Assisting customers seamlessly across online, Customer Care, and in-store channels.
    2. Exploring customer needs and demonstrating the latest technology.
    3. Offering personalized solutions, accessories, and IoT devices.
    4. Handling interactions with composure, integrity, and compassion.
    5. Using digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services effectively.
    6. Completing training on in-store experience, systems, and resources.
    7. Learning about wireless innovations and technology during shifts.
    8. Partnering with other T-Mobile employees to own the customer experience, resolve issues, and identify small business leads.
    9. Supporting team initiatives and fostering an inclusive environment.
  2. Education: High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  3. Work Experience: 6 months in customer service and/or sales, retail preferred (Required)
  4. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Passionate customer advocate, competitive, collaborative, and customer-focused (Required)
  5. Licenses and Certifications: Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US

  • Incentives available after training, with potential to reach $20/hour including incentives and stock grants.
