Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They act as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience. They focus on building strong connections with customers, uncovering needs, and educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales Proficiency: Provide a world-class customer experience by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store; explore needs; demonstrate technology; and sell personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices, with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools Utilization: Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain plans and services, complete training, and learn about innovations in wireless technology during shifts.
  3. Relationship Building: Collaborate with T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives to foster an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Passionate about customer advocacy, competitive, team-oriented, and capable of balancing customer needs with performance goals (Required)

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly base pay is $17.50, with incentives available during training and upon promotion to Mobile Expert, with a target of $18,000/year. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family building benefits, tuition assistance, disability, voluntary insurance options, and discounts on mobile and home internet services.
