Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology and customer needs evolve continuously. They focus on building strong customer relationships, educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and fostering loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers seamlessly across online, Customer Care, and in-store shopping channels.
    • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating the latest technology.
    • Selling personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools effectively during interactions, including:
    • Demonstrating coverage and network speed.
    • Explaining T-Mobile plans and services.
    • Completing training on store experience, systems, and resources.
    • Continuously learning about wireless innovations.
  3. Establish relationships across channels, including:
    • Owning the customer experience and resolving issues.
    • Identifying and passing small business leads.
    • Supporting team initiatives and fostering an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Passionate about customer service and having fun!
  • Competitive drive and success in sales environment (Required)
  • Team player willing to learn and share ideas (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)

Compensation & Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50, plus $5.00 training pay. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert is possible with incentives up to $18,000/year, and guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family benefits, tuition assistance, disability, insurance options, and discounts.
