Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations and customer needs evolve continuously. They focus on building strong customer relationships, educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, where new associates develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience, and building loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers with their shopping journey online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Demonstrating the latest technology and exploring individual needs.
    • Selling personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools to enhance customer interactions and onboarding, demonstrating coverage, plans, and services effectively, and completing training on store experience and systems.
  3. Build relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance the customer experience, resolve issues, and support team initiatives.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting and having fun.
  • Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a sales environment.
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders.
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. After training, eligible for incentives and annual stock grants. Full-time employees earn a guaranteed $20/hour including incentives.
