Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving. They focus on building relationships with customers, uncovering their needs, and educating them about device and service solutions. This role is a learning position, where new associates work with their team to develop skills for advancement to a Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities

1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:
   • Assisting customers from online, Customer Care, or in-store shopping journeys.
   • Demonstrating the latest technology and exploring customer needs.
   • Selling personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
   • Approaching customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
2. Skillfully use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, and complete training on in-store experience and systems.
3. Build relationships with other T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people.
• Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a sales environment.
• Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders.
• Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Additional Details

Within the first 90 days, associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for training pay. Promotion to Mobile Expert includes eligibility for an annual incentive of $18,000, performance-based. All employees earn a minimum of $20/hour including incentives, and are eligible for an annual stock grant.
