Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations and customer needs. They build strong connections with customers, uncover their needs, and educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This role is a learning position, where new associates develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales Skills: Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class experience, and fostering loyalty by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store. Explore needs and demonstrate technology, offering personalized solutions beyond basic devices and plans. Approach interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools and In-Store Experience: Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain plans and services, complete training on in-store experience, and stay informed about wireless innovations.
  3. Team Collaboration: Partner across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives to ensure an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun while connecting (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)

Hourly Pay: $17.50, with training and incentive opportunities. Full-time employees can earn up to $20/hour inclusive of incentives. All employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
