Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology and customer needs are constantly evolving. They focus on building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales: Develop proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class experience, and building loyalty by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store. Explore customer needs and demonstrate technology solutions, including accessories and IoT devices. Approach interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools & Training: Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain plans, and complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources. Seek ongoing learning about wireless innovations during shifts.
  3. Relationship Building & Teamwork: Collaborate with other T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, and support team initiatives, fostering an inclusive environment.
Education & Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Customer advocate with enthusiasm and fun! (Required)
  • Drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment. (Required)

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour plus $5.00 training pay. During the first 90 days, associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for training pay. Afterward, promotion to Mobile Expert is possible with an incentive target of $18,000/year, with actual incentives based on performance. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives. Additionally, every employee is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
