Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations and customer needs. They focus on creating meaningful connections with customers, building expertise in uncovering needs, and educating them about device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and fostering loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers in continuing their shopping journey across online, Customer Care, or in-store channels.
    • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating the latest technology.
    • Selling personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools to demonstrate:
  • Coverage and network speed.
  • Benefits of T-Mobile plans and services.
  • Knowledge of store experience, new skills, and systems.
  • Continuous learning and innovation.
  • Establish and partner with T-Mobile employees across channels to:
    • Own the customer experience and resolve issues.
    • Identify and pass on small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
  • Education and Work Experience
    • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
    • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun.
    • Driven to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
    • Willing to collaborate and learn from peers and leaders.
    • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals.
    Licenses and Certifications
    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    Additional Details

    Hourly pay starts at $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay. During the first 90 days, associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for training pay. Afterward, promotion to Mobile Expert is possible, with incentives up to $18,000/year, and guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives.
