Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations and customer needs. They build meaningful connections with customers, uncover needs, and educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This role is a learning position, where new associates develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class experience, and building loyalty by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store. Explore individual needs, demonstrate technology, and offer personalized solutions including accessories and IoT devices. Approach interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools and Training: Use digital tools effectively during interactions, demonstrate coverage and plans, and complete training on in-store experience, systems, and processes. Seek information and stay updated on wireless innovations.
  3. Relationship Building: Collaborate with T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives to foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail experience preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate, authentic and fun (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales (Required)
  • Team-oriented, eager to learn and share ideas (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)

Hourly Pay: $19.00 + $5.00 training pay. During training, associates are eligible for hourly training pay. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert includes an incentive target of $18,000/year, with total guaranteed earnings of $20/hour including incentives. All employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
