Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about connectivity and thriving in a fast-paced environment, they focus on building relationships with customers by understanding their needs and demonstrating device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience by helping customers continue their shopping journey, exploring needs, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions including accessories and IoT devices.
  2. Utilize digital tools to demonstrate network coverage, explain plans and services, complete training, and stay informed about innovations.
  3. Establish relationships and collaborate with T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail experience preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer advocate with a fun and genuine attitude (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in a sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Hourly Pay: $21.00 + $5.00 training pay. After training, eligible for incentives up to $18,000/year, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives. All employees are eligible for stock grants.
