Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology and customer needs are constantly evolving. They focus on building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending device and service solutions. This role involves learning and skill development, preparing associates for advancement to Mobile Expert. New associates must complete training successfully.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience by assisting with online, in-store, or Customer Care interactions, exploring needs, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions.
  2. Utilize digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, complete training on store experience, and continuously learn about innovations in wireless technology.
  3. Build relationships across channels, including with business and customer service teams, to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service or sales experience, retail preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate with a fun, authentic approach (Required)
  • Competitive drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel: No
DOT Regulated: No
Hourly Pay: $19.00/hour during training, with incentives, and potential promotion to Mobile Expert with higher incentives. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for annual stock grants.
