Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They act as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations and customer needs. They focus on building strong customer relationships, educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills in preparation for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and fostering loyalty by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store, and exploring their needs with personalized solutions.
  2. Utilize digital tools in interactions to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, completing training on in-store experience, new skills, and system knowledge.
  3. Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)

Hourly pay starts at $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay. During the first 90 days, associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for training pay. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, the annual incentive target is $18,000, with guaranteed earnings of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, and discounts.
