Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) are part of a Retail Team of Experts, bringing the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology and customer needs evolve. They focus on building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills, aiming to advance to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop proficiency in serving and selling to customers by providing a world-class experience, including:
  • Assisting customers with their shopping journey, online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating technology products.
  • Offering personalized solutions beyond basic devices and plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Approaching customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools to demonstrate:
    • Coverage and network benefits in the customer's area.
    • How T-Mobile plans and services meet customer needs.
    • Completing training on in-store experience, systems, and resources.
  • Build relationships across channels, including:
    • Owning the customer experience and resolving issues.
    • Identifying and passing small business leads.
    • Supporting team initiatives and fostering an inclusive environment.
    Qualifications

    Education: High School Diploma/GED (Required)

    Work Experience: Minimum 6 months in customer service and/or sales, retail preferred (Required)

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Customer-focused with a fun, authentic approach (Required)
    • Competitive drive and success in sales environments (Required)
    • Team-oriented, eager to learn and share ideas (Required)
    • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)

    Hourly Pay: $17.50, with incentives and promotion opportunities. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives.
