Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They connect deeply with customers, building and maintaining relationships, and are skilled at uncovering needs to educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to build skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class customer experience, including:
    • Assisting customers across online, customer care, and in-store channels.
    • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating technology products.
    • Offering personalized solutions, accessories, and IoT devices.
    • Approaching interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools & Knowledge: Use digital tools effectively to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services. Complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources. Continuously learn about wireless innovations.
  3. Team Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across channels to enhance customer experience, resolve issues, support initiatives, and foster an inclusive environment.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Customer advocate with a fun, authentic personality (Required)
  • Drive to succeed in a sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with team (Required)

Hourly Pay: $21.00

During the first 90 days, receive on-the-job training and incentive pay. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, eligible for an annual incentive of $18,000/year. All employees guaranteed $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for stock grants.
