Job summary

Signal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Canton to perform patrols of courtyards, offices, pools, and high-value areas. Duties include securing access points, reporting, and engaging with clients with high attentiveness to safety.

Position requires completion of training within the first month, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and passing a drug test and background check. Shifts are Mon-Thurs, 8:30am-4:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass background check and drug test.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Complete training modules within first month.
• Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Professional conduct and adherence to company values at all times.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and deliver secure mobile patrols (foot/vehicle) of high-value areas as assigned.
• Write detailed, accurate reports using company systems per post orders.
• Arrive on time for shifts, clock in/out, and adhere to dress and appearance standards.
• Interact with customers to maintain peace of mind and professional relationships.
• Report information to Branch Patrol Supervisor and follow up on needs or changes.
• Manage assigned vehicle: fueling, cleaning, and equipment care during shift.
• Care for Signal equipment (radios, keys/cards, uniforms) and ensure readiness.
• Meet daily benchmarks and maintain service quality as directed.
