Job summary

Aquent partners with a leading financial services organization to shape mobile experiences for millions of users. We are seeking a passionate Mobile Developer to design, build, and support native iOS applications, delivering fast, accessible, and reliable experiences.

You will work with Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Combine, contribute to tests and CI/CD, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders to drive high-quality mobile solutions that meet evolving product goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in native iOS development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift.
• Experience with UIKit, Combine and SwiftUI.
• Unit Tests and Automated UI tests with XCTest.
• REST API integration experience.
• CI/CD pipelines experience and debugging.
• Code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
• Strong SOLID design principles and architecture collaboration.
• Experience working with architects and stakeholders.
• Memory and performance debugging in mobile apps.
• Accessibility features such as VoiceOver.
• Familiarity with TDD/BDD.

• Create and execute comprehensive unit tests for a wide spectrum of mobile devices, ensuring application reliability and performance.

• Leverage your deep knowledge of mobile languages (Swift/SwiftUI) and quickly adapt to new technologies to deliver innovative solutions.

What You'll Bring

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in native iOS development.
• Expert-level proficiency and in-depth working experience with Swift.
• Demonstrated experience working with UIKit, Combine, and SwiftUI.
• Proven ability to write Unit Tests and Automated UI tests using the XCTest framework.
• Required experience integrating applications with REST APIs.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and effectively debugging issues that arise within them.
• Required experience performing code reviews and actively mentoring junior developers.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with SOLID design principles.
• Experience collaborating effectively with Architects and Stakeholders to craft appropriate technical solutions.
• Proficiency in debugging memory and performance issues within mobile applications.
• Experience working with native accessibility features such as VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.
• Familiarity with iterative development methodologies, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Strong understanding of technical issues, design patterns, and best practices in mobile development.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, essential for a collaborative environment.
• Strong negotiation, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to identify key stakeholders, evaluate their needs, and manage expectations through effective communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
