Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Mobile App Release Engineer II to own and continuously improve the release lifecycle for iOS and Android apps in Los Angeles, CA. You will automate build, testing, signing, packaging, and deployment while coordinating with engineering, QA, product, and operations teams.

The role requires managing enterprise mobile releases, maintaining App Store and Google Play deployments, and driving release quality through scalable engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and two years of experience or an advanced degree and 0 years of experience.
• Experience with iOS and Android release processes and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitrise, CircleCI, or similar).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell; experience with Fastlane and App Store Connect/Google Play Console.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end release process for iOS and Android applications.
• Coordinate release schedules across multiple engineering teams.
• Manage production, beta, and internal testing releases.
• Execute emergency hotfix and patch releases when required.
• Ensure release readiness through established quality gates.
• Build and maintain mobile CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows.
