Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician in Portland, OR. The role centers on customer interaction, vehicle testing/repair, invoicing, stock control, and maintaining service vehicles as a Brand Ambassador.

Experience in automotive/electronic tech, OE tools, ADAS calibrations, and strong diagnostic skills are preferred; HS diploma or GED required. Full-time schedule 8-5, pay range provided below.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have OE scan tool knowledge and diagnostic ability.
• Wiring repair procedures and A/C system servicing knowledge.
• Strong computer basics (email, spreadsheets) and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Performs wiring repairs.
• Advises shop of needed repairs.
• Keeps inventory of stock and verifies order receipts.
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
• Collects signature or payment for work performed.
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office.
• Keeps shop equipment operating and maintains supplies.
• Collaborates with teammates to schedule/complete jobs.
• Other duties, as assigned.
