Job summary

The Jewish Board seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join its Adult ACT team in New York City, delivering psychiatric and behavioral health services to adults in the community.

You will assess, diagnose, plan treatment, and provide follow-up in clients' homes and communities with a strong emphasis on recovery and person-centered care. You will also conduct medication management and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support integrated care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in NY with DEA registration.
• ANCC certification or pending; OPRA status or pending is required.
• Experience delivering community-based behavioral health services.

Responsibilities

• Provide health/behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Prescribe psychotropic medication and manage treatment for adults.
• Provide in-home visits, team collaboration, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Attend daily team meetings and on-call rotation for after-hours coverage.
• Coordinate with other providers and support services in the community.
