Our direct client has an opening for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (ID: 11694-1).

This position is up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension, located in Columbia, SC.

DEA is seeking an Architect or Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with a broad understanding of cloud engineering, design patterns, and extensive experience with our tech stack to facilitate rapid implementation while supporting existing services.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Daily standups
2. Backlog refinement
3. Demos and reviews
4. Retrospectives
5. Development
6. Code reviews
7. Testing
8. Work to complete work item acceptance criteria and the team’s definition of done
9. Work within the team’s DevOps model, ensuring end-to-end quality of work and support

Additional Skills:

Required Skills (ranked in order of importance):

• At least 10 years of application development experience using solid object-oriented design principles and standards

Preferred Skills (ranked in order of importance):

• Understanding of networking services and concepts in Azure
• Understanding and practice of test-driven development principles
• Experience developing, using, or administering SAP, SAP 4/HANA, IVALUA, or other ERP systems
