Job summary

Benchmark Human Services’ St. Louis office is seeking a qualified, compassionate individual to join our team as a Team Coordinator serving families in St. Louis City.

This role involves acting as the IFSP team SC, supporting recruitment planning, and coordinating service delivery for families and young children. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with experience with families and young children, plus at least one year of leadership/management experience and

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Child/Human Development, Nursing, Psychology, Education Administration, Sociology, Family Science/Studies, Counseling OR other Bachelor's degree with three years of experience working with families and young children.

Responsibilities

• Function in both the intake and on-going Service Coordinator (SC) role.
• Serve as the IFSP team SC and facilitator of the IFSP process for an assigned caseload.
• Assist with development and implementation of SPOE administration plan for recruitment.
• Assist with EIT SPOE administration plan and SPOE administration plan for EI examiners.
• Assist with the review of the functioning of each EIT consisting of provider authorizations and EI examiners per team, providers per discipline, vacancies and EIT attendance.
• Facilitate regular EIT meeting within the region.
• Address complaints regarding providers.
• Provide and ensure oversight and monitoring of providers to ensure quality services, support team-based care, address billing and provider concerns, coordinate service delivery, and assist with staffing needs.
• Participate in company and state leadership meetings as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the following plus one year of experience working with families & young children: Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Child/Human Development, Nursing, Psychology, Education Administration, Sociology, Family Science/Studies, Counseling OR other Bachelor's degree with three years of experience working with families and young children.
• Must have one year leadership/management experience.
• Meet provider enrollment qualifications for Service Coordinator.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
