As a Technical Support Specialist at MNJ SOFTWARE, you will participate in design, development and implementation of architectural deliverables of custom projects and products. The role includes working closely with leads, testers, customers, project/product managers and designers.

Title: Technical Support Specialist

Experience: 2-6 yrs

Job Type: Permanent / Contract [Depends on Project Needs or C2H]

Position Type: Full time [Monday – Friday]. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 9-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (6am – 10pm IST) or (6pm to 6am IST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime [unpaid].

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.

Technical/Functional Skills:

  1. Must have experience working in the web hosting industry.
  2. Intimate knowledge of cPanel, how it works and how to fix errors with it.
  3. Excellent SSH and command-line skills.
  4. Ability to interpret email and weblogs.
  5. Knowledge of DNS.
  6. Knowledge of Mod_Security, PHP applications, Web Errors, Email Errors, CSF, CloudLinux, etc.
  7. Driven to be the best and you have examples to prove it.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Solve customers' technology issues and communicate with them via a ticketing system (email).
  2. Install, configure, maintain, and solve errors for content management systems including, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc.
  3. Review email logs, determine why an error is happening, and solve it.
  4. Troubleshoot why a website is slow or not loading.
  5. Handle migrations from external providers to our servers.
  6. Ensure the migrations are completed successfully with no errors or issues.
  7. Work with cPanel scripts to tweak settings or fix accounts.
  8. Provide customers with a “WOW!” experience.

Personal Attributes:

  1. Must be Analytical and possess good problem-solving capabilities.
  2. Independent thinker.

Languages: English is the working language of this post. Fluency in oral and written English is required.
