Job summary

CompHealth, a leading healthcare staffing company, offers locum tenens opportunities across the country. The role supports inpatient and outpatient otolaryngology with a wide variety of cases and procedures, including endoscopy and MOHS-related work.

Typical shifts are Monday through Friday, 9-hour days with a lunch break, plus weeknight call on a rotating basis; housing, travel, and malpractice coverage are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• General otolaryngology required, surgical and non-surgical.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient otolaryngology coverage.
• Perform endoscopic, bronchoscopy, laryngoscopy and tracheotomy procedures.
• Handle MOHS reconstruction, parotidectomy and related procedures.
• Coordinate ongoing coverage through week-long blocks and flexible scheduling.

Role Requirements

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm -- 9-hour shifts with lunch break
• Weeknight call shifts required -- not every night
• Approx. 18 patients per shift
• Inpatient and outpatient required -- wide variety of cases
• General otolaryngology required -- surgical and non-surgical
• Endoscopic, bronchoscopy, laryngoscopy, and tracheotomy required
• Additional procedures -- MOHS reconstruction, parotidectomy, and more
• Ongoing coverage -- multiple week-long blocks available
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process

From $175.00 to $250.00 Hourly
Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations. Rates shown are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay. Please contact your consultant for details.
