Description:
Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pick-up, handling special requests, in-between meal food delivery, answering patient calls, and processing soiled equipment.

Assembles and delivers meal trays, including late trays and room service, and nourishments for various diets. Washes and sanitizes equipment, maintains food service areas, and notifies staff of shortages. Prepares food according to dietary requirements, recipes, and safety standards, following HACCP guidelines. Labels and rotates food items, maintains quality records, and assists with catering. Restocks supplies and operates equipment safely. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation, follows department procedures, and supports resource efficiency. Communicates effectively with staff and patients, attends training sessions, and maintains confidentiality. Dresses professionally, adheres to safety policies, and embodies the organization's values. Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
