Job summary

Western Michigan University, Office of Research and Innovation, hosts the MI Mobility Fellows (MMF) Program Cohort 3 to strengthen Michigan’s mobility ecosystem. Fellows are placed in host organizations to gain hands-on experience solving real mobility challenges and to make Michigan’s mobility future more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable.

Position: Medical Logistics and AAM Readiness Fellow in Kalamazoo, MI. Program runs December 1, 2026 – November 12, 2027.

Job description

The MI Mobility Fellows (MMF) Program is a highly selective fellowship designed to strengthen Michigan’s transportation and mobility ecosystem. Fellows from across the country are placed in host organizations where they gain hands-on experience addressing real mobility challenges. This program aims to make Michigan’s mobility future more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable—improving the way people, goods, and ideas move across the state. This posting is for Cohort 3 of the MMF program.

• Fellow Compensation: $60k per year + benefits
