The MLW Mobile Phlebotomist I works independently, traveling to different customer locations to obtain blood specimens from patients for laboratory analysis, observing protocols and methods established by the Department of Laboratories. Responsibilities include unpacking, registering, receiving specimens, preparing them for processing, locating and correcting discrepancies, and ensuring proper specimen preservation before forwarding to the laboratory. The role also serves as a backup to the in-house phlebotomy team and includes customer service duties.
The MLW Mobile Phlebotomist 1 works independently, traveling to different customer locations to obtain blood specimens, following established protocols and methods. Responsibilities include unpacking, registering, receiving specimens, preparing them for processing, correcting discrepancies, and proper preservation. Acts as a backup to the in-house team and handles customer service tasks.
Includes neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and special needs populations, among others.

Salary Range: $39,000 - $58,500 (full-time equivalent)
