Job summary

Lake Region State College invites applications for a Medical Laboratory Technician Instructor/Program Coordinator to lead and develop the college’s MLT program. The role focuses on accreditation compliance, curriculum development, and student success across academics and professional pathways.

The position is full-time, 10-month, with benefits, and reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Preference for candidates near Grand Forks, ND; remote candidates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Three years of post-secondary teaching experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses online and in-person (lectures, labs, clinical sessions).
• Evaluate student achievement across core MLT content areas.
• Develop and assess curriculum, policies, and program outcomes.
• Coordinate student placements with clinical partners and manage relations with hospitals/labs.
• Oversee program operations including budgeting, recruitment and retention.
