Job summary

Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN is seeking a Laboratory Technician (MLT/CLT) for the Bemidji Main Clinic. You will manage pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing while adhering to SOPs, safety, and regulatory requirements.

The role provides collaboration across departments and requires critical, independent judgment in decision-making. An Associates degree in Laboratory Science and national certification or registry eligibility are required, with BLS potentially preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Laboratory Science required.
• National certification for MLT or CLT through an approved Health and Human Services agency (e.g., ASCP) or registry eligibility. Registry-eligible candidates must complete the Board of Registry exam within 12 months of employment.
• If working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed or have a provisional license by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice.
• Maintenance of continuing education credits as required for license/certifications. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

If working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed or have a provisional license, by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice. Maintain continuing education credits equivalent to the state requirements as needed for license and certifications. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
