Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking tutors in the UK to support pupils with SEND through trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring. The role emphasizes planning lessons, tracking progress, and delivering flexible support for KS1–KS5 students.

Applicants should have QTS/QTLS and at least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD. DBS clearance and references are required; right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/ PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Support pupils and students with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Deliver tutoring and mentoring across KS1–KS5 as appropriate to skills.

• Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way


• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science


• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)


• Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references


• Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
