Job summary

Etched is offering a 12-week paid internship in San Jose, CA, focused on ML system software for rack-scale deployments. You will work on design, development, and deployment across networking, telemetry, and health analysis with strong mentorship from leaders in a hands-on environment.

Eligible students pursuing CS/Engineering degrees will gain experience in hardware/software co-design, low-level software, and data processing pipelines while collaborating with an in-person team at our Santana Row

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust and Python.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms; understanding of low-level software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML system software for rack-scale systems.
• Work across networking performance, telemetry pipelines, and system health analysis.
• Support hardware validation and secure, performant data-center scale ML workloads.
