Job summary

TheCorporate LLC is seeking an experienced ML Researcher in New York City to join a healthcare AI startup. You will work with founders and senior engineers to build research environments, evaluation systems, datasets, and tools for next-gen AI models.

You’ll tackle challenging ML problems, translate ideas into working systems, and own research through implementation in a fast-paced, onsite role. Previous startup experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of Machine Learning experience, with 4–6 years preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Reinforcement Learning (RL) and/or Multimodal AI.
• Experience building or supporting production ML systems.
• Strong software engineering and programming skills.
• Ability to explain previous ML/AI work in significant technical depth.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High ownership and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work onsite in New York City.
• Startup environment experience desirable.
• Healthcare AI domain experience is a plus.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ML Researcher to join a well-funded and fast-growing Healthcare AI startup.

You’ll work closely with the founders and senior engineers to build the research environments, evaluation systems, datasets, and tools needed to develop the next generation of AI models.

This is a highly technical role for someone who enjoys solving challenging ML problems, building real systems, and taking ownership from research through implementation.
