Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the ML Platform Experience team, part of the core ML Platform organization.

You will design and optimize infrastructure for ML workloads, build feature pipelines, and deploy high-performance inference systems in a production environment. The role emphasizes collaboration across ML engineers, strong coding standards, and the use of Python with Java/Go in a fast-paced, privacy-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 6+ years of post-Bachelor's software development experience or equivalent.
• Experience building large-scale production machine learning systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize infrastructure systems for machine learning workloads at scale.
• Build and enhance feature generation and serving pipelines.
• Develop high-performance inference systems for AI model serving.
• Build infrastructure to train, evaluate, and infer ML models in the cloud.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy models to production.
• Uphold standards for code correctness, security, and production readiness.
