Apple is seeking machine learning platform engineers to design and ship high-availability Python services and platform tooling for AI evaluation at multiple levels. You will partner with researchers to operationalize innovations and build developer-first APIs and SDKs for scalable evaluation.

You will work across system design, API development, and production-grade engineering, driving technical excellence and rapid delivery in a GenAI environment.

Formación

• 2+ years of software engineering experience or a Master's with relevant project experience.
• Strong Python ecosystem proficiency with production-grade code and architecture input.
• Experience partnering with Data Scientists/Researchers to operationalize scientific code.
• Understanding AI/ML lifecycle and evaluation metrics.

Responsabilidades

• Design, code, and ship high-quality Python services.
• Lead architecture for core evaluation engine and distributed services for seniors; end-to-end feature/API ownership for mid-levels.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists to translate metrics, prompts, and scoring algorithms into scalable services.
• Ensure seamless integration with ML infrastructure and developer workflows.
• Champion SDLC, automated testing, and monitoring for high availability.
