Job summary

Veho is seeking a Technical Lead Manager for its Data Science/MLOps efforts to own the platform and a 1-2 year roadmap. You will lead a four-engineer team spanning ML infrastructure, operations, and embedded DS projects, embedding engineers into major science initiatives to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.

You’ll drive AI tooling adoption, set standards for velocity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to push AI-driven development while contributing code and designs.

Qualifications

• ML platform experience incl. training and serving infra, feature stores, orchestration, monitoring and deployment pipelines.
• Experience leading high-velocity ML Platform / MLOps teams in smaller-scale companies.
• Hands-on with open-source ML tooling and large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of four engineers spanning ML infrastructure, ML operations, and embedded data science work.
• Improve internal ML platform; standardize infrastructure, DS services, deployment and operations.
• Set roadmap for ML/OR infrastructure improvements.
• Embed engineers into major science initiatives (forecasting, pricing) ensuring technically sound projects.
• Drive AI usage across DS and define tooling adoption standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation for data science production systems.
