Job summary

Veho is seeking a Technical Lead Manager for the Data Science Operations team. You will own the ML platform, drive a 1-2 year roadmap, and ensure AI/ML tooling accelerates development velocity across forecasting, pricing, and routing.

You will lead a four-engineer team spanning ML infrastructure, ML operations, and embedded data science projects, shipping scalable ML systems for a rapidly growing logistics platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field with substantial ML/ML Ops experience.
• Experience leading ML Platform/ML Ops teams; shipping production ML systems.
• Hands-on with open‑source tooling for large-scale ML (e.g., Ray, Flink, Feast).
• Strong Python and cloud data engineering skills; knowledge of data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a four-engineer ML infra team (ML infra, ML ops, embedded DS).
• Improve internal ML platform; standardize infra, deployment pipelines, and integration.
• Set roadmap for ML/OR infra; embed engineers into major science initiatives.
• Drive AI tooling adoption and establish development velocity and best practices.
