Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a systems-level engineer focused on network infrastructure to design, implement, and optimize software that interfaces our accelerators with high-speed networks. You will work on kernel- and user-space networking, debugging distributed systems and developing scalable network abstractions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in systems or network programming, strong knowledge of DPDK, XDP, eBPF, and PCIe drivers, and are comfortable with Rust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems or network programming.
• Strong knowledge of kernel and user-space networking concepts.
• Experience with network accelerators and drivers.
• Familiarity with PCIe devices and related driver development.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain software interfacing accelerators with high-speed networks.
• Debug and optimize distributed network software.
• Develop kernel-space and/or user-space networking components.
• Design new network protocols and abstractions for scalable systems.
• Diagnose networking issues across OSI layers 2–4.
