JMP, a SAS subsidiary, offers an award-winning internship focused on development, culture, and community. The role in Cary, NC, runs May 18, 2027 – August 6, 2027 (12 weeks) with hybrid in-office and remote collaboration.

Interns work on real AI-enabled workflows, with opportunities to interact with leaders and pursue SAS training. Applicants should be pursuing a Master’s or PhD in related fields, demonstrate excellent communication and coding skills, and show initiative and accountability.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s or PhD in CS, Biostatistics, Biochemistry, Clinical Statistics, Statistical Genomics, Engineering, or related life-science analytics; not graduating before Dec 2027.
• Strong communication and coding skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated leadership and initiative in past roles.
• Interest in analytics and embracing technology for the future.
• Curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Program in Python to build AI-integrated routines for JMP.
• Test, benchmark, document, and promote this work (written and/or video).
