Job summary

Thumbtack is hiring a Software Engineer for the ML Infrastructure team to build and evolve core AI platform capabilities, enabling product teams to develop, run, and scale AI-powered applications across Thumbtack's ecosystem.

You will design scalable tools and infrastructure for ML model training, serving, and data workflows, collaborating with senior engineers to evaluate new AI infrastructure frameworks and drive high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Proficiency in Go and/or Python; experience across multiple languages.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (Postgres or DynamoDB).
• Experience using AI coding tools in daily workflows.

Responsibilities
