Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure powering our AI and machine learning workflows. You will bridge our AI research team and production by building tooling, pipelines, and deployment systems that move models from experiment to factory floor.

The role focuses on systems thinking and delivering reliable software for researchers and robotics engineers, with emphasis on ML, data pipelines, and GPU-enabled Linux environments.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of software engineering experience in ML infrastructure, MLOps, or AI-enabled systems.
• Strong production Python software experience; ROS or robotics stacks are a plus.
• Experience with PyTorch and ML model development tooling.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, simulation environments, containerised workflows, and GPU compute on Linux.
• Able to bridge AI research and production to build robust software systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software infrastructure for robot learning, including model training, experiment tracking, versioning, and deployment.
• Develop pipelines for collecting, processing, and curating large-scale robotic telemetry data.
• Support deployment of AI models onto robotic systems, including simulation and hardware integration.
• Build internal tools to accelerate AI engineering workflows across exploration, testing, evaluation, and productionisation.
• Partner with AI researchers and robotics engineers to turn model requirements into scalable software.
