Job summary

Syntiant Corp. in Irvine, CA is seeking a DevOps Machine Learning Infrastructure Intern to support our Software Engineering team, focusing on ML applications deployed on AWS EKS and on-prem clusters.

You will help build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs with Python and FastAPI, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across teams to ensure robust cloud-native deployments while maintaining on-prem Ceph, PostgreSQL, and NFS services.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in CS or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI for API development.
• Exposure to AWS EKS and Kubernetes deployment and management.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and NFS.
• Knowledge of Ceph and on-premises storage is a plus.
• Linux system administration familiarity.
• Will learn to write clean, maintainable code and test thoroughly.
• Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) exposure a plus.

Responsibilities
