Job summary

Glean is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer in San Francisco to advance search quality and enterprise AI capabilities. You’ll work on query understanding, document understanding, domain-adapted language models, and production ML systems that power the company’s work AI platform.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, a BS in CS/math/science, and proficiency with ML frameworks. This hybrid SF-based role offers a generous benefits package and a base salary range of $140k–$265k with equity

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in ML or ML-enabled products.
• BA/BS in computer science, math, sciences, or related field.
• Experience with search, NLP, or large-scale ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Invent signals to improve search personalization.
• Train models to capture interactions in ranking.
• Domain-adapt language models to customer corpora.
• Combine LLMs with search to answer complex questions.
• Write robust, readable, testable production code.
• Mentor junior engineers or learn from senior engineers.
