Job summary

Meta is seeking talented Machine Learning engineers to join our teams, tackling cutting-edge recommender systems and scalable AI features. You will work across platforms, collaborating with product, design, and infrastructure teams to ship high-impact models and interfaces.

You will design and optimize ML models, contribute to end-to-end solutions, and help drive responsible, high-quality software across systems and services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in machine learning, recommendation systems, or related field.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript or Hack.
• Experience with developing ML models at scale from inception to business impact.
• Knowledge developing and debugging in C/C++ and Java, or scripting languages such as Python, Perl, PHP, and/or shell scripts.
• Track record of setting technical direction for a team, driving consensus and cross-functional partnerships.
• Proven experience designing, building, or deploying recommendation systems (e.g., collaborative filtering, content-based, hybrid approaches).
• Experience building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability.
• Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, testing, rollout, monitoring.
