Job summary

Matoffo LLC is seeking a motivated ML/AI engineer to advance our infrastructure and software delivery platforms. You will fine-tune models, deploy them on SageMaker/Bedrock, and build scalable RAG workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers).
• Proficiency with SageMaker for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience with document processing (Word, PDF, images).
• OCR experience with Tesseract or AWS Textract preferred.
• Proficiency in Python with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn.
• Experience deploying and managing ML models in production.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Automation of ML workflows via AWS Step Functions or Apache Airflow.
• Experience in Agile environments using Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Fine-tune pre-trained models (e.g., BERT, GPT) and deploy them using SageMaker and Bedrock.
• Establish RAG workflows leveraging knowledge bases built on Kendra/OpenSearch.
• Implement a comprehensive MLOps framework with CI/CD, versioning, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build scalable templates and ingestion pipelines with RAG workflows and data source integration.
• Automate end-to-end processes from input to response, leveraging Bedrock Agents, CloudWatch, and QuickSight for monitoring.
• Integrate monitoring with AWS CloudWatch and QuickSight to provide real-time performance insights.
• Implement model monitoring and retraining triggers to maintain performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers and DevOps to ensure production readiness.
• Document model development, deployment procedures, and monitoring setups.
