Job summary

OXOS Medical seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to drive ML models for EM tracking and View Confirmation on our radiographic devices. You will advance generalization across metal interference, optimize real-time performance on Jetson, and build end-to-end ML pipelines with robust validation and data lineage.

You will work with Python, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM, ensuring production-ready solutions with reproducibility and safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Expert-level Python and PyTorch skills; experience building and training deep models end-to-end.
• Advanced experience with scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM applied to structured, sensor-driven pipelines.
• Expert application of spatial and grouped train/test splitting to prevent data leakage.
• Advanced comfort with Docker, conda, git, and CI pipelines (linting, type checking, automated testing).
• Collaborates with device software, hardware, and clinical stakeholders to move R&D into production.

Responsibilities

• Own machine learning models behind EM Tracking and View Confirmation capabilities.
• Advance EM tracking generalization across unseen configurations and environments.
• Design data collection protocols to span orientation space efficiently.
• Port models into production on device Jetson and optimize real-time performance.
• Establish baseline detection and feedback performance for novice users.
• Evaluate denoising approaches and build high-integrity fluoroscopy datasets.
• Document validation reports to support production handoff.
